Music and worship are keystones of
the ministry of Memorial Baptist Church. The Music Ministry is
a centerpiece of worship of Jesus Christ at Memorial. All of
the different avenues of music lead to the road of worshiping our Lord.

MBC's Music Ministry features a wide
assortment of musical opportunities in which anyone can be involved.
MBC's Sanctuary Choir is a large group of more than 50 singers who
sing weekly in the 10:45 service, as well as for many other services and events during the year.
Encompassing a wide variety of musical styles, MBC's Sanctuary Choir
sings music from the classics to jazz, Contemporary Christian to
Gospel, and from spirituals to traditional. Rehearsing on
Wednesday evenings @ 7:00, MBC's Sanctuary Choir is a great place to find a musical home.

In addition to the Sanctuary Choir,
MBC's Sages Choir is an outstanding choir which features choir
members 60 years in age and above. The Sages Choir meets at 10:00 on
Thursday mornings and is directed by Katie Preston. The Sages Choir sings at a number of venues
around mid Missouri.
MBC also utilizes the contemporary
genre of music with Worship Teams. Instrumentalists and
vocalists lead the worship at 10:45 each Sunday. A variety of
instrumentalists and singers make this service one which enables the
congregation to focus more deeply on God.

Rounding out the music ministry, the
"Children's Worship" program is open for children ages 4-11 and meet on
Wednesday evenings @ 6:00 P.M. during the school year. In
addition, an
outstanding youth choir features dozens of teens
who present an annual dinner theatre/musical each spring.
Finally, MBC's Handbell Choir organizes and plays for special services through the year.
