Media Library...

The mission of the Media Library is to be a dynamic resource center that provides materials and services to stimulate Christian growth and enhance the quality of worship, witness, education, and ministry of the members of Memorial Baptist Church.  Insofar as possible, the Media Library Ministry Team also will share these resources and services with those outside the church community.

Media Library Hours:

Sundays-

  • 8:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
  • 12:00 noon to 12:20 p.m.

Wednesdays-

  • 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (Sept. - May)
  • 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

How to Borrow Media: 

The Media Library maintains a collection of media for all age groups.  Patrons (MBC members and nonmembers) can check-out the following media: books, periodicals, audiocassettes, videocassettes, CD’s, DVD’s, kits, and games.  Loan time are two weeks for all media.

 

All patrons are issued a patron ID card. One for each adult member and one per child by permision. Five total items my be checked out at a time. If any two or more items are overdue they must be returned to contuine to check out additional items.

 

Audiovisual equipment (overhead projectors, camcorders, audiotape players, TV’s, VCR’s, DVD players, etc.) is for use only at MBC, unless special permission has been obtained from the Media Library director or associate director or from the church staff.

How to Return Media: 

Return borrowed media to circulation desk if Media Library is open.  Return media to media mailbox outside Media Library door if Media Library is closed.

How to Request or Reserve Media: 

Make request at Circulation Desk; the librarian will notify you when item is available.

Media Selection Policy:

Media Library obtains media by purchase and by donation.  A copy of the Media Selection Policy is available upon request.
