Kick Boxing for
Women...
What
is it?
It is a martial-arts
based fitness class for women of all ages and fitness levels.
The class consists of an endurance-building cardio session based on
kickboxing movements and a punching bag session that focuses on
increasing strength. Basic physical self-defense principles are
highlighted throughout the class. This is a great opportunity to
get some exercise, learn a few self-defense techniques, and have a
lot of fun, so please join us!
Who leads it?
Sessions are led by
Bertha Brekke and Kelly Sabulsky, experienced KardioKick
instructors.
When is it?
Every Tuesday &
Thursday from 6:30pm to 7:30pm
Where is it?
Sessions are held in
the Northwest Recreation Room of Memorial Baptist Church (1634 Paris
Road). This room is found on the northeast corner of Memorial's
campus (near the corner of Paris Road and Woodrow Street).
