Children...
Memorial Baptist Church is committed to ministering to children and
their families. Preschoolers and grade-school children can
participate in a wide range of activities at Memorial. Most of
these activities take place on Sunday mornings and Wednesdays
evenings.
On
Sunday mornings at 9:30am, children may participate in
Sunday School
classes that are grouped according to their age or grade in school.
A wide variety of Bible study groups for parents are also available on Sunday
mornings.
Kids'
Worship
meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:00pm to 7:30pm during the school
year. Preschoolers and school-age children participate in separate
groups that learn and practice fun, Christ-centered songs while also
learning foundational Scripture lessons and Bible verses.
On Sunday evenings at 6:00pm, the
Confident Kids ministry meets at
Memorial. This program uses music, skits, biblical characters,
and life lessons to teach children new life skills. For both
children and their parents, Confident Kids help kids to build
confidence, strength, and new friendships while helping the entire
family to grow, love, and heal together.
A
variety of other activities for children are offered at Memorial as
well. Summer activities include Vacation Bible School, Children's
camps, Basketball & Cheerleading camps, and Wednesday evening
"Summer Splash" activities. In the winter, many children also
participate in the Upward Basketball & Cheerleading programs at Memorial.
